Loved the workshop! Easy to follow instructions, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone came away with really beautiful prints - a great introduction to the craft and I feel inspired to do more!
Great workshop. The instructor is encouraging for everyone to learn and make something personal to them that they can take home. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The instructions were clear and given in stages to make it accessible and easy to follow.
Great class that was really easy to follow. The end results were so good even for someone not very artistic! Enough time to produce something I've actually framed and put on my wall.
Only thing that could be improved is to either provide something to take home your print in to keep it flat or to let people know they need to.
Thanks so much, would recommend to anyone wanting something different and creative to do on an afternoon
Really enjoyed the workshop! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, and we all came away with gorgeous prints! Highly recommend
Really enjoyed the Lino cutting course. I learnt a lot and can’t wait to go on another course
We had a really great session with Viola creating our prints. We did think 3 hours seemed a long time but it flew by, could have stayed all day! The final prints were really effective, and i'm not artistic. I would recomend giving it a go. I plan to do the workshop again with different friends.
Really enjoyed the session - Viola was a lovely supportive tutor
I came with 5 friends and we all really enjoyed the workshop. We came away with lovely prints. Would definitely recommend!
Really great creative experience, we were guided really well throughout and were given a lot of room for creative freedom which we really appreciated. We were left to work at our own pace but were given help at all stages of the process when needed. The atmosphere was really nice despite the group not all knowing one another, and was an all around great experience that I would love to do again!
Such a fun experience, very well guided and so engaging. Thank you!
Now absolutely hooked on linocut. Viola was a fantastic host, with loads of materials and ideas for what to produce - the finished prints were amazing, and it was surprisingly easy and satisfying to create something really quite good. It didn't feel rushed and the vibe was much more relaxed than some other activities we've done. Absolutely recommended - we all came away agreeing that this would be one to repeat.
Super fun workshop, well led by the host who allowed us to as creative and adventurous as we wanted to be. Left with some beautiful prints (4!) that would be great wall hangings or gifts :)
Went to this experience as a group of four girls and we all loved it! The guidance and advice we got was just right and all came away with great prints!
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon designing and making our linocut prints! Viola was a great teacher which made the session great for us first timers!
I came with a friend and had a wonderful time! The host was really great, and I went home with lots of lovely prints.
Great time with Viola who was a very patient tutor helping us through all the stages to produce some lovely examples!
Viola was an excellent tutor and was very competent at helping all students irrespective of their ability. Everyone seemed to be very happy with their prints.
Very good. Viola was very patient
Really enjoyed this relaxed and informative class - thanks
Was a really lovely class, would highly recommend.
I attended with two friends and we found this a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The basics of lino printing were covered and we understood the process by the end of the session. We now feel equipped to do more at home and plan to get together again to do more. The workshop was relaxed and comfortable and is recommended to anyone looking to do something creative.
Loved my prints
I really enjoyed the class. Viola was great, we had a lot of fun, she was super encouraging and helpful!
Had a great time and learned lots. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed this course so much and the tutor was fantastic; incredibly helpful encouraging and everyone that was there made something gorgeous and unique.
Viola was great, made everyone feel very welcome and comfortable. Guided us all through the process clearly.
This was such a lovely session with plenty of helpful inspiration and guidance from Viola. Inspired me to get back into being a bit more creative.
Fun and creative way to spend an afternoon:)
A lovely relaxed workshop and great guidance on how to design and carve linocut prints.
It was such a good class! Excellent host, me and my partner had a lovely and creative afternoon 😁I think she did a great job at easing us into the printing before we made our own prints, and was super helpful with advice, inspiration and more. We'd deffo go again!
A fun afternoon and came away with some lovely prints that I plan to hang up! Teacher was supportive and encouraging.
Had a really great time making prints - and Viola was the perfect host.
Loved it! So much fun and the host was really helpful and lovely. Would recommend.
Took my friend as a birthday present for her and we had a lovely session with Viola - class size was just right to be chatty without too big, venue was great and Viola is an encouraging and knowledgeable teacher. Lovely afternoon!
A great workshop with plenty of time to experiment with two different types of printing - hand burnishing and lino printing. Am really happy with what I managed to produce and am excited to get them framed and hang them at home!
Viola was an excellent host and provided resources from her own garden for us to print with. When it came to making our own lino prints we were gently guided with our designs and got some beautiful prints by the end of the session. Would highly recommend as a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Very good experience, encouraging and easy-going tuition. Welcoming and inclusive.
Really enjoyed the course
The session was very informative, creative, offered a variety of options and resources. The host was very accommodating and helpful. My friend and I had a great time. I shall gift this experience to others in the future, as I guarantee for them to enjoy such experience. Many thanks for everything!
Lovely teacher. Wonderful day. Learnt lots. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend
Please wear clothes suitable for printing. All inks are water based but please wear an old t-shirt or bring an apron. Also please bring an A4 envelope or folder to take you prints home in. Thank you
